STATEMENT OF FAITH

 

CHRISTIAN CANCER SURVIVORS

We believe in one God, who interacts with us in Three Persons--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

 

The Father is the maker of heaven and earth; Jesus Christ is His only Son; the Holy Spirit guides us in our daily lives.

 

We believe all humans sin; we are forgiven for our sins and are saved from the consequences of our sin by believing in Jesus Christ (his claim to be God, his work of death and resurrection to pay for our sins). It is not possible for us to be "good enough" to make up for the sin we commit.

 

We believe Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and that He is fully human and fully God. He was crucified on the cross to pay for the sins of humanity. He rose from the grave on the 3rd day after his burial to demonstrate his ability to conquer sin, and death.

  

We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments were inspired by God and are our final authority for life and faith.

 

We believe that those who believe in Jesus will spend eternity with God. Those who reject Jesus will be separated from God forever.
